Otherness X The Other House

The Other House unveils The Other Space this August - a place devoted to mind, body and inner wellbeing, curated by us!

Following the launch of residents' club The Other House South Kensington on the 5th of July 2022, we are very proud to announce that we will be collaborating with the innovative hospitality concept to introduce a new wellness retreat, The Other Space, a place dedicated to self-discovery and exploring the ‘Other’ side of yourself.

The Other Space is a place devoted to mind, body and inner being; it is dedicated to self-discovery and exploring the ‘Other’ side of yourself through curiosity and connection. We are incredibly excited to bring a uniquely curated menu of spiritual, alternative and holistic treatments to rebalance and restore the body and mind, including a schedule of group, on-demand and private sessions.

From astrology workshops and shamanic healing, to spell casting and ritual creation, we welcome some of our world-class portfolio of guides to bring bespoke events and their very special talents to all. We welcome the likes of Andrea Arare, Anicca Sound, Urmi Sound and Desiree Diaz.

As life resumes back to normal following the pandemic, prioritising mental, physical and spiritual health has never been more paramount, an ethos which is at the heart of The Other House, lead by Head of Wellbeing at The Other Space and our founder, Alex Holbrook. Through the introduction of The Other Space, we will bring a unique offering to The Other House creating an unparalleled luxury wellness offering for residents and members who are looking to lead an intentional and conscious lifestyle - physically, emotionally and mindfully.

“We believe that every one of us has an inner being that needs to be nourished just as much as our bodies and minds.” explains our founder and the newly appointed Head of Wellbeing Alex Holbrook, “We are in a time that recognises ‘faith unbundled’ whereby we create our own toolbox of wellbeing; mixing spiritual modalities and traditions, with exercise and self-care, to form our own balance in life. We want everyone to have the option of exploring these offerings, in a safe space, with vetted guides and state-of-the-art facilities. We champion positive impacts - whether that is on the planet or our health, be it physical, mental, or spiritual.”

The Other Space also includes a gym, featuring the latest hi tech equipment such as a touchscreen running machine, Peloton bike, Assault Air bike, TRX Pro 46, Concept 2 Rower, a Smith machine, a heavy boxing bag, and an extensive range of free weights, as well as a vitality pool, sauna and steam room, a private yoga studio with in-person and on-demand drop-in classes, along with a meditation room which will be introduced in September 2022.

Naomi Heaton, CEO, Founder and Co-Owner of The Other House notes: “We consider every aspect of the experience The Other House provides so our residents and members can live and feel better. This extends from our focus on mindfulness, health, wellbeing and sustainability to creating iconic environments and exciting interiors to inspire and uplift. Enabling every person who stays with us to have a positive impact on themselves, the people around them and the planet, is key to the vision of The Other House.”

The Other House is tearing up the rule book and launching a new sector of Residents Clubs, redefining the hospitality market. It effortlessly combines apartment-style living with hotel services on tap and superb club facilities. Think pied-à-terre meets private club, available for all residents to enjoy with no membership required. It is cool, intriguing, bold and committed to sustainability. Whether it’s for a day or a year, it is their other house for as long as they are in town.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the space and curate some incredible sessions.
