Hakomi is a mindfulness-based, body-centred approach to psychotherapy. It is a gentle but powerful way of working with all aspects of your being – emotional, mental, physical and energetic.
The aim of Hakomi is to lessen unnecessary suffering and help clients to have fresh and more fulfilling ways to experience everyday life.People often come to Hakomi after experiencing talking therapies or are wellbeing practitioners themselves in need of selfcare. It is also simply for you if you feel stuck in certain habits and are curious to understand yourself better.
Loan (pronounced Lwaan) has over 25 years of experience working in a therapeutic capacity. Before training as a Hakomi Therapist, she was a Rolfer and Rolf Movement Practitioner. She brings many years of careful observation of the body and skilful touch to her Hakomi Practice.She is of Vietnamese origin and is inspired and thankful to Thich Nhat Hanh for his teachings which first drew her to mindfulness over 30 years ago.Loan creates a safe and welcoming space for your 'assisted self study' so that you feel supported and in safe hands.
